Washita Retrievers offers long term or short term boarding for any breed of dog in our clean, secure, recently updated facilities.  All dogs are excercised daily and are provided with only the highest quality Eukanuba brand food.  Special rates apply for long term clients or those boarding more than one dog.

Why board your healthy pet at a veterinarian's facility when sick dogs continually go in and out and spread germs all around? Every dog at Washita Kennel is current on shots including Bordetella and live a healthy, active lifestyle. Your dog is in the same facility as our dogs...with the same security measures (tall metal fences, tripple gated yards, monitored security system, etc) as well as the same sanitary and comfort amenities (new airing yard landscaping, new waste handling facilities, heated and cooled kennel building, etc).

We are available every day of the week. Therefore you won't be “stuck” with extra boarding fees if you want to pick up on, for example, a Saturday evening when other facilities are only available weekdays from 9-5. Also, we apply our rates nightly as a hotel does. We don't feel it is fair to apply boarding rates as most veterinarian facilities do on a daily basis where boarding one night can cost you two days. For example, if you board with us from noon on Monday through noon on Friday, you would be charged for four days. With most vets, you would be charged five.

We love our “out of the way” facility where dogs can be dogs and we can keep them safe from all the hazards of the city. However, we understand that many times it is out of the way for you as well. We make frequent trips to Duncan and occasional trips to Chickasha and Lawton. We would be happy to connect with you in one of these locations to help facilitate us caring for your dog.

Rates

• One dog – Outside run with summer shade and summer / winter shelter. Clean concrete run cleaned twice daily. Exercised twice daily in secure yard. (In extreme weather situations, hot or cold, dog will be temporarily housed in climate controlled kennel building. $10/day.

• One dog – Indoor / Outdoor run. Indoor portion of the run is climate controlled to approximatley 75 degrees in the summer and 68 degrees in the winter. Still exercised daily in secure yard. If interested in these runs, please make reservations early. They are typically full. $20/day.

• Two + dogs and dogs boarding more than two weeks – Apply a 10% to 20% discount depending on your dogs ability to “get along” and possibly share a kennel run. We have found that many times clients prefer that their two dogs stay together in a larger run, and many times the dogs are “lost” without each other.

• Bath – We can have your four legged family member lookin' and smellin' fresh as can be...ready for your car and home in our professional “Booster Bath” bathing facility. $20. (Dogs boarding more than two weeks receive a complementary bath).

• Pickup / Drop-off in: Marlow, Chickasha, or Duncan - $15. Lawton - $20.
